Body Awareness through C.A.R.E. Functional Retraining
Build body awareness of muscle and movement.
Everyone benefits from this training, and those with muscular pain in particular may find it a life-changing experience.
What is Body Awareness through C.A.R.E. Functional Retraining?
Body Awareness through C.A.R.E. Functional Retraining uses a series of floor exercises combined with body awareness techniques. This retrains the motor-cortex of the brain to eliminate physical dysfunction. The brain is taught how to release entrenched muscular habits to increase the ability to sense and feel.
People who have established pain from long-held poor posture, physically stressful work habits, or injuries may find relief through Functional Retraining.
What does a Body Awareness class entail?
Body Awareness through C.A.R.E. Functional Retraining classes are intensive programs. They are conducted while wearing comfortable clothes and working on the floor. Sessions can be scheduled for 2 hours, 4 hours, full-day, or multi-day retreat.
Classes are taught by certified instructors.
What are the benefits of a Body Awareness class?
Participants report improved movement with reductions in stiffness and pain. Often, a holistic sense of well-being accompanies Body Awareness exercises, particularly when practiced on an ongoing basis after the class. Lasting effects occur when Body Awareness exercises are done regularly.
